This is the feature you must have been used to if you had used forms developer and I missed this with the previous version of jdeveloper, specially during the OAF development days. But here is the relief in the 11g version of JDeveloper.I noticed this option while opening the jdeveloper 11g version 11.1.2.3 and came as a tip in jdeveloper.

Lets see how we can use this option.

Step 1: Select the fields for which you need to set the property in property inspector. For Example, I will set the required property to true on Department ID and Department Name fields.Use ctrl + click or shift + click to select multiple items.

Step 2: Set the required to true.

Step 3 : Verify that both the Department ID and Department Name has the required property to true.

Of course, you can set multiple properties at once too using the same methodology. It could save lot of time and frustration for lot of developers around who work with Oracle ADF.
